Okay, this will be rather vague - mostly since I can't refer to the group I'm mentioning here. I learned this evening that I was cut from a group I was part of. The email I received indicated that a change in direction was causing those with lower participation rates to be removed from the group effective immediately. I managed to IM a person in charge and learned that it was a very big cut and also the reasons for the cut, so I felt a bit better that I was not being singled out, as it were and being in the bottom third didn't mean that I was not active - just that they had to cut the group and this was the only fair way to do it. The alternative was to disband the group entirely. And that would not have been good. Who knows - we may be invited back.

I know that was way vague...

Other than that, it wasn't a bad day and I'm heading to bed. Earlier than I expected, actually.
